What a beautiful Indian Wedding!

We were excited to work with Jonathan and Nisha, (we love capturing cultural weddings) and the more they described their upcoming indian wedding in Sedona, Arizona, the more we knew we just had to be a part of it!

Sedona is one of our absolute favorite places to film. With the dramatic red crimson cliffs and romantic atmosphere can you blame us?!

This fusion wedding was nothing short of an extraordinary event that started from getting ready to a Grand Baraat, a beautiful Hindu Ceremony, and an extravagant reception!

Jonathan’s Baraat took place at Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. Tlaquepaque Village is regarded as a treasure within Sedona. Set in the beautiful, authentically-styled Mexican village, surrounded by huge sycamore trees, tall vine-covered stucco walls cobblestone pathways, and courtyards, the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village feels like it has been around for centuries. The Baraat ceremony is very much the jump-start to the wedding day. It begins the celebration with excitement, singing, dancing, and laughter. Capturing Jonathan’s close family members, relatives, and friends dance along side him was an unforgettable moment!

You will see Nisha getting ready at Los Abrigados, located against the banks of the world famous Oak Creek. The grounds include cascading fountains and some of the most breathtaking scenery.
Nisha looked stunning in her Lehenga (A traditional wedding dress for an Indian Wedding). Her beautiful glass bangles nicely complimented her traditional henna tattoos.

Their Ceremony (also taking place at Los Abrigados) was full of different cultural rituals setting the Bride and Groom on the path to marital, financial, and life-long success. Seeing the tears gather in Nisha’s eyes as she is coming down the isle and the way Jonathan gazes at his beautiful Bride…Words cannot describe the feelings they felt for each other.

After the Ceremony we traveled to Agave of Sedona for the reception. Taking place in the Montage Ballroom with an adjacent Terrace. It was the ideal location for a Sedona Wedding Reception! The ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows that give panoramic views of Sedona’s majestic Red Rocks. Custom lighting provides a spotlight effect enhancing the exquisitely decorated reception and the beautiful red/orange floral center pieces. Traditional dancing took place and nobody could withstand the urge to dance along with them. By revealing their joy and love through dance, the wedding guests gladly welcome the new couple into the world of marriage.

Ending the night beautifully with a sparkling exit, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting!

Jonathan and Nisha were so much fun to work with. Both of them are such amazing people and they really compliment each other. They truly blended both Indian Wedding traditions and Western cultures and created this beautiful wedding. We hope you enjoy their wedding as much as we enjoyed capturing it!
